Kizad, one of the largest operators of integrated and specialized economic zones in the region, has announced attracting five new industrial and logistics projects in both Kizad Al Ain and Kizad Mamoura in Abu Dhabi. These projects come with total investments amounting to 147 million dirhams and span a total area of over 84,000 square meters, and are expected to contribute to providing 500 new job opportunities. The list of new projects includes 'Haber/Elixir' company, which will develop a facility for blending oilfield chemicals; 'Grand Line Industries' company, which will establish a factory for automotive care products; and 'Present Enterprises for Metal Coating' company, which will develop a facility for metal forming and coating. Additionally, 'Yunebal Investment Group' will develop its second project for industrial and logistics warehouses in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its first project in the Kizad Al Ain area under the name 'Yunebal Park 2'. 'Al Lull for Transport and General Contracting' will work on a massive project for logistics and industrial warehouses in the Kizad Mamoura area. The announcement of these projects comes as part of the continued momentum achieved by Kizad in 2025, where leased land area reached 73.6 square kilometers, with 3.3 square kilometers recorded as new net lease contracts, and 67% of total leases were allocated to industrial activities. The Economic Cities and Free Zones sector, which is part of Abu Dhabi Ports and under which Kizad falls, achieved revenues of 2.87 billion dirhams in 2025, marking a 45% year-on-year growth. Abdullah Hamli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones at Abu Dhabi Ports, stated: 'These new projects reflect the growing and sustained demand on industrial and logistics assets that form a cornerstone of the real economic activity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.' He explained that the volume of investments, the diversity of targeted sectors, and the creation of 500 job opportunities are the most prominent features of these projects, noting that this escalating growth solidifies the Emirate's industrial base by enhancing production capacities, increasing storage areas, and creating sustainable value across our integrated business ecosystem. The Kizad Al Ain area will host four of these projects on a total area exceeding 37,400 square meters, with an investment value of 47 million dirhams, and will provide 200 job opportunities. The fifth project, which is the largest in terms of investment and employment, is located in the Kizad Mamoura area of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, spanning an area of over 46,500 square meters, with an investment of 100 million dirhams, and will provide 300 new job opportunities alone. The recently signed agreements reflect the confidence of companies in KizAD for the advanced infrastructure, integrated connectivity solutions, and a growth-stimulating work environment it provides. The wide diversity of activities of these projects, from specialized chemical industries and metal processing to warehousing and logistics services, adds depth and tangible value to the industrial solutions offered by KizAD Group, and enhances its role in enabling investors to expand with confidence in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. These agreements come at a time when KizAD Group continues to expand its industrial and logistical base, where the Economic Cities and Free Zones sector successfully delivered 146,000 square meters of new warehouses in 2025, maintaining an occupancy rate of 91% despite increased supply. KizAD Group continued to develop its specialized complexes, including the Metals Complex, Rahal City for Automotive, the Agri-Tech Complex, and the Abu Dhabi Food Center, which enhances the diversity of the Group's offerings in key industrial sectors. As Abu Dhabi continues to enhance its industrial and logistical capabilities, KizAD Group continues to focus on enabling investors through developing integrated solutions that combine industrial lands, warehouses, public utilities services, and logistics connectivity within a unified operational environment.
